Children's Art Party | Cartooning

Make your child’s next birthday party fun and arty! A cartooning party at Art Est. is hands-on and every child takes home their own drawing book full of cartoons they’ve learned to draw at the party. The birthday child chooses their favourite cartoon theme and your tutor shows kids how to draw step-by-step as well as some fun creative challenges.

How it works

The art parties are held in our inspiring warehouse art studios and gallery, so children feel like real artists from the moment they arrive. They begin their art journey in our gallery where we await the arrival of your guests. The children then move into the art studio set everything they start cartooning.

Parties run for 2.5 hours, that’s 2 hours for your activity and 30 minutes party time (birthday cake etc) at the end. Parties usually run Saturday afternoons from 2.30pm-5pm.

Activities and subject

Select your subject: The birthday child chooses a cartooning theme in advance and we can accommodate just about any thing you can think of! Popular choices include: Super Cute Animals, Sci-Fi, Super Heroes, Disney Favourites, Pixar Favourites. But there’s many options.

Fees and payment

The fee for 1- 10 children $700.00 (this is the minimum fee)
Each additional child is $60.00

A deposit of $300 is required to secure your party date. The balance of payment to be settled 5 days before the Party when final numbers are to be confirmed. Final charges will be based on the number of children attending the Art Party or the guaranteed number, whichever is greater

Inclusions

The party fee includes:

  • 2.5 hour party (2 hours activity 30 minutes party time)
  • All art materials and each child takes away an artwork
  • Experienced Art Tutor to run your art workshop
  • Personalised Art Est. Party e-Invitations to email your guests (emailed to you within 48 hours of booking)
  • We provide a trestle table 2mx0.8m long with four benches. (Additional tables and stools available for larger parties)
  • Use of Art Est. kitchen for preparation. We have a small kitchen with a fridge, small oven, microwave.

The following is excluded. You provide these:

  • Birthday cake
  • Catering (party food, drinks, etc)
  • Decorations, cups, plates, lolly bags, table covers etc.
