Time to make a Kooky Kookaburra! Have fun learning basic clay hand-building techniques to create your body, add its head, and learn how to give your animal characteristics to make it very unique! Add some texture and then paint with coloured underglazes. Have fun. Be quirky!
What will students take home?
A hand sculpted Kookaburra sculpture that will be glaze fired
The artworks made in this class will be fired in our kiln so kids will not take their artwork home on the day. The work needs to dry out before bisque firing, we then glaze the work and fire again in our kiln. We will send you an email notifying you when to collect your artwork so keep an eye on your inbox. Please allow about 3 weeks until they are ready to collect.
