Our courses for kids aged 5 to 12 years are structured for different age groups and stages. Kids learn about artists, art history and art genres while being in a relaxed and nurturing environment. While many of our young students come for fun, some use their Art Est portfolio to enter selective creative high schools.

Cartooning | Ghosts, Ghouls and Goblins | 8-12 years
For young illustrators who have a penchant for the Adam's Family and Hotel Transilvania. This workshop with professional illustrator Samuel McNair will show step by step how to draw a variety of characters as well as offer open-ended challenges for students to invent their own ghastly ghouls. Ceramics | Frivolous Frogs | 5-9 years
Fancy making a frivolous and fun frog? Well hop over and learn to build your frog in clay. Learn basic clay hand building techniques to create your frog and give it a really unique personality and features. What will students take home? Drawing in Charcoal with Rachel Fairfax | 10+ years
A special one day drawing-workshop aimed at learning fundamental drawing skills of seeing, proportion, perspective, composition, tone and value. Paint your own Ceramic Bowls | 5-12 years
Paint a design your own cereal, pasta or soup bowl. Students will paint with underglaze onto a bisqueware (fired ceramic) bowl while learning the fundamentals of planning, design & drawing to assist them in finishing a fun and functional piece of pottery.
